Job Description
As the Business Development Manager you will be heavily involved in the acquisition and spearheading of new demolition and civil contracts (in particular tier 2 construction company contracts), playing a crucial role in furthering business growth. You will be responsible for building client relationships, contract negotiation, and leading a team to develop strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
Qualifications / Skills
The ideal candidate will posess the following;
- Certificate IV in demolition.
- 5+ years of experience working on demolition and decommissioning projects.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards within the construction and demolition industry.
- Relevant demolition licenses (restricted/unrestricted).
- Experience in contract and client negotiation.
- Confidence and strong communication skills.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Client/contract negotiation.
- Tender document preparation.
- Providing financial project advice.
- Tracking project progress.
- Management of HSEQ issues.
- Provide project leadership and ensure project delivery to a high standard, on budget, and in compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Prepare and submit business claims, invoices etc.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders of the business.
