Mining, oil and gas projects; • Sakhalin II Project, Russia – Wagners supplied 75,000 m3 of high specification classified sand as natural gas pipeline backfill. • Wilkie Creek Queensland - Haulage from coal and preparation of plant to rail loading station – 6,000 Mt per day (24/7) using GPS tracked road trains. • PNG LNG – EPC3, Port Moresby, PNG - 1.1 Mt of Fill materials & 135,000 M3 of structural concrete, training and managing own local workforce (95% of total employees). • PNG LNG – EPC4 Hides, Papua New Guinea - 45,000 M3 of structural concrete, training and developing own national workforce. • Moura Coal, Queensland - Haulage of 5.4 Mt of coal using 19 triple road trains (200 tonnes per unit), including crushing & screening services. Average distance of 40 KM; • Alcan Gove, Northern Territory - Crushing of 200,000 Mt of aggregates & supply of 80,000 m3 of structural concrete. • Curragh haulage work - loading and haulage of coal from Curragh to Stanwell. Over 12 weeks, 234,000 tonnes of coal was hauled, involving 26 road trains, travelling a combined distance of 1,980,252 kilometres.
Composite Fibre Technology projects; • Composite boardwalk for Townsville City on Magnetic Island - design and supply of 80 lineal metres of two-metre wide boardwalk on a 45 degree slope. Twenty pre-fabricated units of four-metre long boardwalk were used. • New Oregon Road Bridge in Eerie County, New York State, America. Wagners supplied and installed a single span fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) and concrete hybrid structure. The span length is 8.9 metres or 29.2 feet. The construction time for the bridge installation was one week. • In October 2012 Wagners designed and supplied the largest fully composite bridge refurbishment in Australasia – Baio Bridge in Mossman. Spanning five full sections at a total length of 35 metres the fully supported composite structure is designed to axial loads of heavily laden Cane Trucks and Agricultural Equipment as well as the day to day access for locals. • Port of Airlie Beach Pontoon and Gangway. In 2012 a 22 metre long by 4 metre wide structure was built by Wagners as part of the Fantasy Riverside Marine project at the Port of Airlie. Our composite fibre structure is ideal for use in a marine environment due to its unique non corrosive and maintenance free properties.
