Murray Engineering Group has a highly skilled and experienced personnel complement approximating 410 employees, specialising in the maintenance, refurbishment, automation, manufacture and assembly of a wide range of equipment. Our headquarters are a modern, purpose-built 55,000m2 facility in Pinjarra, Western Australia, with other branches located in Kalgoorlie, Newcastle, and Roxby Downs, and diverse projects based worldwide. Murray Engineering Group has grown every year since its inception in 2007 and currently generates revenue in excess of $100 million per annum. Automation and Control: Murray Engineering’s Automation and Control Systems division is a leader in heavy equipment automation,control systems and communication solutions, delivering customised solutions to improve production and increase safety. Solutions include: mobile equipment automation;remote control; teleremote; wireless communications; machine health and telemetry; human machine interface; and proximity detection and collision avoidance.

Electrical Murray Engineering manufactures transportable, high-voltage electrical switch rooms, motor control centres, substations, starter panels and distribution boards. The company provides high-voltage field testing and installation at open-cut and underground mining operations, as well as conducting repairs to trailing cables and electrical components.

Mechanical Murray Engineering provides mechanical repairs on all types of mobile machines and equipment. The mechanical division specialises in providing high-quality repairs and rebuilds for all types of mobile and fixedplant equipment in a quality-controlled environment. Services include: machine rebuilds; component overhauls; dynamometer component testing; maintenance and repair contracts; design and install solutions; auto electrical and air conditioning; mine site light vehicle modifications; fixed plant shutdowns; field service; dewatering pump assembly.

Pumping Murray Engineering’s pumping division offers complete engineering design; drafting; fabrication; assembly; skid-mounting; and packaging, installation and commissioning of all mechanical and electrical requirements of pumping and rotating equipment, as well as new pump supply and workshop and field repairs.

Fabrication: Our fabrication division uses state of the art laser cutters and mechanised material preparation methods as well as alternating current crack detection (ACFM) to ensure we provide high quality fabrication services. The fabrication workshop equipment includes a Laser Cutter, Plasma Cutter, Hydraulic Brake Press, Guillotine, Plate Rollers and multi-function Welders. Services provided: Bucket Rebuilds; Platforms; Work Baskets; Dump Body Rebuilds and Repairs; Machine Modifications (included but not limited to CAT, Komatsu, Atlas Copco and Sandvik); Fixed Plant Components; Mobile Plant Attachments; Skid Bases; Handrails and Machinery Guards; Excavator Booms and Sticks Repairs; Loader and Excavator Buckets; Stainless Steel Welding.

All our mining machines and equipment for hire goes through a stringent and comprehensive maintenance service before going on hire, so you can be confident that you are hiring top-quality machines which have been well looked-after and maintained. Both our mining machines and equipment for hire are available for short and long term hire, and can be used in any environment, or on any site required. With over 100 pieces of machinery in our hire fleet, we have the right machines for any job. We also have dedicated warehouses and a sales team to support our product supply and spare parts business.

Labour Hire: Murray Engineering has a full complement of company-employed tradespeople available, for immediate deployment to mine sites and workshops nation wide.
