Boss has an extensive, in-house, manufacturing capability from concept discussions/material selection/3D design/3D printing to Tool design/development/commissioning to full production volumes etc in a wide range of polymers (thermoset + thermoplastic / rigid or flexible / solid or sponge / etc) and a wide range of processes (injection moulding, compression moulding, extrusion, co-extrusion, composite extrusion), Note, this is all done in-house in Mulgrave Melbourne.


  • Our current extrusion capability is from small profiles (e.g., 1mm diameter) up to large profiles such as 500mm wide or 30kg/linear meter in either one polymer or up to 3 polymers in the one extrusion profile (co-extrusion)
  • Our unique composite extrusion capability allows us to extrude profiles with a wide range of reinforcing materials included in the profile or fused to the profile. We also have a unique process of applying PSA adhesives (eg 3M VHB or HAT PSA tapes etc) onto the extruded profile inside the extrusion head
  • Our injection moulding capability is from tiny mouldings (10 ton Babyplast injection moulding machines that takes relatively inexpensive small tools, refer attached photos.) to reasonable large (120 ton Engel injection, refer photo, IMG 0993)


We also have the ability to post process (cut, drill) or fabricate (glue, weld etc) extruded or moulded products to create final products.
