Senior Sales Manager - Hudson - Melbourne - 7 Sep 2017

Due to significant growth, a national pallet racking and warehouse storage solutions company is currently seeking a Senior Sales Manager.



Reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be solely responsible to help grow and manage their business development functions. Although not required to attend the office on a daily basis, weekly meeting with other team members and MD about perspective projects and sales planning is essential to the continued success in this role.


This will require you to:


  • Take responsibility for all aspects of the company’s business development,
  • Maintain, grow and develop their business accounts,
  • Be comfortable working autonomously,
  • You will be travelling around the Melbourne metro region, booking and meeting with client’s onsite,
  • You will be comfortable with is not a simple “door knocking” role. You will need to be comfortable with organising your diary, setting appointments with a strategic approach,



As the ideal Senior Sales Manager, you will have previous sales experience of pallet racking, shelving, mezzanine floor industry, background in construction or materials handling industry. You will need to have a proved track record for driving profitable sale, along with previous sales development experience. In addition, you will have:


  • Proven success with hitting KPIs,
  • Proficient with CRM systems,
  • Strong written and communication skills,
  • Outstanding problem solving and interpersonal skills,
  • Manage a large variety of stakeholders, across a range of industries,
  • Proven track record of driving profitable sales,
  • Strong communication and networking skills,
  • Competent with Microsoft Office applications, ability to present effective, presentations and quotations in selling of storage packages,
  • Experience managing people,
