Purpose of the role

Our national Client & Market Growth team at MinterEllison is a critical component of the firm and essential to the firm's success. The team supports the partnership by providing the full spectrum of business development and marketing services to ensure the firm develops and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive national team within a growing business development function. As a key point of contact for tenders, proposals and pitches across the firm you will work closely with a range of internal stakeholders and gain experience across a number of industries and business units. You will also be part of a national team who will train and coach the wider firm around best practice proposal management. Key responsibilities will include:

Overall management of proposal, tender and bid responses – Working with legal and business development teams to deliver client focused proposal responses.

Acting as the central point of contact for the preparation of all stages of proposals development. Develop, communicate and manage a response plan for each proposal.

Ensuring proposal information is accurately and effectively captured, maintained and shared.

Apply standard tools and methodologies to all proposals.

More about you

On your first day we expect you to have:

Tertiary qualification in Communications, Business, Marketing or a related discipline

Proven experience in leading bids and proposals and implementing client focused sales methodology

The capability to deal with multiple senior stakeholders and work collaboratively and constructively with fellow team members

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong project management and stakeholder management skills

A commercial and client (both internal and external) focus

The ability to work calmly under pressure to tight deadlines

Strong attention to detail
